Disable IPv6 in Mandriva

I found I needed the following line in /etc/modprobe.conf to disable IPv6.
alias ipv6 off
I also had the following line in /etc/sysconfig/network
NETWORKING_IPV6=no
The IPv6 is then disabled after reboot.
