- Rename IEXPLORE.EXE to IEXPLORE.EX_.
- Create a subfolder with name IEXPLORE.EXE.
- Restart windows in normal mode

Completely disable internet explorer in windows
What I did is to start windows in safe mode and go to folder C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer then do the following steps:
